Best Taxi Options from Brighton to Gatwick Airport?

Hey everyone,

I have a flight out of Gatwick soon and I'm considering taking a taxi from Brighton. Has anyone done this recently? How much can I expect to pay, and are there any reliable companies you'd recommend? Also, is it worth pre-booking or just grabbing one on the day?

I’d appreciate any insights on travel times too – especially in the early morning, as my flight is at 9 AM. Looking forward to your advice or experiences!

I took a Brighton to Gatwick airport taxi a couple of months ago. The cost was around £50-£70 depending on the time of day and the company. I recommend pre-booking, especially with your early flight, as it can give you peace of mind and possibly a better rate. Some reliable companies are Brighton & Hove Radio Cabs and Streamline Taxis. As for travel time, it’s usually around 30-45 minutes, but with a 9 AM flight, I’d aim to leave around 5:30-6 AM to avoid any rush hour traffic.
