How to Register for the RCDD Exam

Once you're confident in your preparation, it's time to register for the RCDD exam. Here's a step-by-step guide:

  1. Create a BICSI Profile: If you haven't RCDD already, create a profile on the BICSI website. This will allow you to access study materials, register for the exam, and track your certification progress.
  2. Submit Your Application: Fill out the application form and submit it to BICSI. Make sure to include all required documentation, including proof of your work experience and any relevant education.
  3. Pay the Exam Fee: The RCDD exam fee varies depending on your BICSI membership status. Non-members typically pay a higher fee than members.
  4. Schedule Your Exam: Once your application is approved, you can schedule your exam at a Pearson VUE testing center near you.
Maintaining Your RCDD Certification

After passing the RCDD exam, you will receive your RCDD certification, which is valid for three years. To maintain your certification, you'll need to:

  1. Earn Continuing Education Credits (CECs): RCDD professionals must earn a certain number of CECs every three years. These credits can be earned through additional training, attending conferences, or participating in industry-related events.
  2. Recertification Exam: Alternatively, you can choose to retake the RCDD exam every three years to maintain your certification status.
